DLA2022 Pre-/Post- Conference On-Line Software Workshops

Laubwerk: Laubwerk Plants Workshop with Cinema 4D and SketchUp Pro

Schedule: Sat Jun 11, 9:30a – 11:00a EDT

On-Line Link: to be provided by workshop Presenters.

Presenters: Philip Paar, Laubwerk

Outline:

Landscape architects are increasingly adopting 3D visualization in their projects and digital workflows. Laubwerk Plants are high-quality, customizable 3D plant models for 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, and SketchUp (and more platforms to be announced). The easy-to-use Laubwerk Player plugin has been designed to save time and add natural beauty to any scene. The one-click solution brings realistic render-ready 3D trees to life for landscape architects, architects, and CG artists, reducing the need for fine-tuning and encouraging exploration. Innovative technology allows for creative experimentation with multiple, high-density models while efficiently managing the memory footprint. Each tree model comes in three shapes, with three ages and four seasons per shape. Adjustable detail level settings mean that each tree looks great without slow navigation or long rendering times.
